This Batman figure is the minimally-articulated (neck, arms and legs) version of the Batman figure that Mattel first brought out. The ‘Exclusively Decorated’ part of the toy is that a metallic toner has been added to Batman’s grey tights and his utility belt. This makes his greys come off as dull silver and his utility belt gold. Overall it looks okay – Bats has always been colored very darkly with lots of shadows in the show, so obviously adding a metallic toner doesn’t capture that look. And to be really nitpicky the bat insignia is slightly off-model compared to the one used in the show.

The car is a scaled down version of NASCAR racer Mark Martin’s car. This is basically your standard Hot Wheels car without any open-able doors. The paintjob is quite detailed; along with the image and name of Batman, it also has many of the racer’s sponsors such as Pfizer, Taurus and 3M visible on the car. It’s definitely not the Batmobile but if you love NASCAR, Justice League, Hot Wheel cars and corporate sponsorship then you’d probably love the car!

Notable Difference from the basic figure[]

  • metallic grey suit instead of plain grey
  • dark gold belt
