In-package
Let’s start by saying the helmet is NOT removable. Despite that the Four Horsemen do an excellent job of translating Black Manta to life, and that’s not an easy feat considering the retro design of his helmet. Th Black Manta uses a generic slimmer body with an attachment at the back which connects via pipes/wires to the head. The weapons are great too, although taking it out of the packaging, on may find the edges bent, but that can easily be fixed with a hair-dryer or hot water. The trident is a cool accessory though it fits rather loosely inside the flexible open grip hand, similar to what Batman and Aquaman have.
This figure was later redone as a more Superfriends-inspired version.
