Official Bio (from JLU cardback)[]

Mr. Terrific and the T-spheres

"After Martian Manhunter's departure from the JLA, Mr. Terrific, the self-described 'third-smartest person in the world,' took over as their mission coordinator. After Lex Luthor and The Flash's brains were accidentally switched by Dr. Fate, Mr. Terrific became part of the mission to stop Luthor from taking over the Watchtower."

Six-pack release[]

This figure was first released in the six-pack 'The League United'. It should be noted that prior to this, images were revealed of civilian Hal Jordan who sported a jacket that hinted at a future release for Mr. Terrific himself.

Single-card release[]

carded

Mr. Terrific is no different than his previous release in a 6-pack last year except for his T-spheres accessory. The T-spheres are attached to a hard plastic beam which hooks between his neck and jacket collar and then again under the bottom of his jacket. The beam itself is almost completely hidden from view but you can see just a little bit of it peeking up behind his head. It certainly does not distract from the overall look of the figure and the t-spheres add some much needed character to the figure. The T-spheres are removable, but they can be quite a hassle to attach again. So, should you buy this figure? If you're one of those collectors who can't stand to be missing an accessory then you'll buy it anyway and you'll love it but if you're not then you may be passing on this one if you already have the previous release.
