Non-toys or MOC eggs are toys that don't exist but hold a special place in a particular line. They are there usually for the benefit of Mint-on-Card collectors to spruce up certain collections. The idea is usually a play on the invisibility of the person or object the non-toy represents. In most cases plastic trays that reflect the shape of the toy, had it been produced, are included in the package to help sell the concept.
Notable examples:
- Invisible Jet (Hot Wheels)- an SDCC 2010 exclusive package
- Invisible Kid (DCUC LOSH)- takes his place in a 14-slot heptagonal display in the Legion of Superheroes 12-pack
