This Superman figure is the first made-for-toy Superman redeco after a long time and the very last in the line. It also is the last instance of the 2nd Superman sculpt. It went with the Green Lantern 2 ver 8 and Wonder Woman 2 ver 7 figures sold separately. It also would've gone nicely with Batman 2 ver 13 had it been released.
The figure was never rereleased.
